This Mexican producer from Tijuana appears for the first time on Paul Arnold's label and he will surprise you ! Panoptica gives eight tracks in electronica or electro / breakbeat styles (which are in addition to drum' n' bass the main styles of the English label) but also in a minimal and deep house way. For sure, Roberto Mendoza has good European influences. The sound production is absolutely perfect, probably thanks to his long musical background which started in 1989 with a techno pop industrial band ! Note that all tracks have been released as four 10" EP's in limited edition prior to the release of this CD album. So just check all these lovely titles on Certficate 18 web site and get them !!
